This is weird timing, I am looking to do exactly this as I want to turn a ‘dumb’ continuous doser on/off.
I have a question though, what is the difference between the FET version you linked and a traditional relay version? I mean I am familiar enough with relays but what are the...
I haven’t calibrated it. I would consider it accurate but not precise. For instance, it is currently bouncing around a voltage of .54-.55 volts which I can’t say surprises me as far as the voltage moving every few seconds. But that translates to 437-469 ppm which is not going to give you a great...
Quick update I got this working for co2 with an MHZ14A (off Amazon, didn’t go with the dfrobot one) I did use 3125 as the slope and -1250 as the offset seems to be reading correctly so far.
I guess it depends on how much and how often you want to do the water changes.
If you have a really large tank the doser might not be a good option but if you have a really small tank a pump might not be a good option.
That’s the good part about the hydros is you can mix and match to get a...
The AWC has ATO ‘built in’ to it so I am using the standard ATO kit with drive pump to do the ATO. I plan to use a second kit for the AWC fill pump, using the 2nd sensor to tell the AWC when to stop. The only pump left then will be the drain pump. Right now thinking a maxijet for drain (via wifi...
Ya I guess I am just not understanding your setup well or why you need the AWC feature (which is meant to hold back fresh top off water while new saltwater is being pumped out/in) vs just turning on a pump to drain (either when you manually plug it in, use a siphon, or even just set up a pump on...
I haven’t done it yet so I can’t say for sure. But my understanding was once you create the AWC output it would never run without a schedule, unless you manually triggered it by clicking on the drain output and selecting ‘on’. Idk if that is correct or not though to be honest.
A physical button...
