Thanks for the reply, I swear I thought that’s what I did the first time and everything looked like it was erased. So I deleted everything and restored it from backups(thankfully hydros makes that easy). I just tried it again the way you described and it works perfectly! Thanks for the response...
Maybe I’m blind but I haven’t seen a way to create a new “collective” from my existing Control 4 without starting over from scratch. I’ve been using my control4 for 2 years and need more sensors ports so I purchased an XS. But discovered I need to make a collective so they can talk to each...
Is there a pinout for the power cable for the WaveEngine or the Control 4? Or a pin out for the back up battery cable that they sell? I’m wanting to make a more robust battery backup than what IceCap currently sells.
Thanks for any information you can provide
I just purchased a wave engine and was trying to figure out if there is any way I can use my Ecotech battery backup to power my wave engine in low power mode? The connections is different than what icecap uses.
Any help or thoughts is much appreciated.
Ive bee looking at the app and I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to have my drive port controlled hydros branded doser, dose based on PH. What I’m trying to do is limit my night time drop in PH by having my doser come on and add saturated kalk to keep my tank above 8.2. Is this...
thanks for the recommendation. Without using a calibration solution the default is within .1 of my other PH tests. Must be a questionable batch of solutions maybe?
I was consistently get a reading for the high point of the day of 7.94 and a low point reading of 7.75. My chemical tests we’re...
So I just got a new control4 and setup the PH probe, I’ve calibrated it 3 time now. It reads 7 and 10 perfectly but I don’t trust it’s reading on my tank water. It says my tank is at 7.8 despite the fact I’m using a recirculating CO2 scrubber. And my tank is in a large well ventilated room...
Awesome, I look forward to seeing this platform develop. This is my first controller and for what it’s worth I’m very impressed. And the fact that the company is so open and responsive to customer feed back makes it all the better. 👍🏻
I am the proud owner of that sensor. It will shut the skimmer off but there isn’t away to have a notification tied to the sensor. At least not that I have been able to identify.
My work around is I have a light that is tied to the sensor, and when the sensor is wet it turns the skimmer off and...
Thats why I got a single smart plug for my return, butI have yet been able to figure it out. If I select that outlet I can see what the current power draw is. But I have yet to see a way to base anything off that information or a way to track or log the consumption for future reference.
I’d like to have the ability to have high and low water levels but connected to a single sense port. I know I could just use 2 sense ports and two optical sensors. But there must be a way to monitor both levels and not eat up half the sense ports on my control4. And it would give a control2 the...
