Thank you for the reply, it seems like the fallback cleared up overnight. I tested the float switch that should shut down the skimmer and it seems to be working. I'll just keep an eye on it, I made a few changes yesterday so I'm guessing everything just needed to settle?

Is there a list of what can power what? I know a wave engine can send power to an x4 controller for example but can an x4 send power to an Xs or XD? Just wondering if theirs a general way to know what transmits power.

I get what you're saying but this feeder was never connected to the Apex or the hydros. On the Apex i think I setup a virtual outlet as a timer and did the statement you said. On the hydros I kinda did the same thing just without code. Now I had to change that because I also wanted 2...

I had a whole.house surge protector installed when I had some electrical work done a few years ago. . . No clue if the thing actually works but it has a green led on it so there's that. I also have my whole aquarium plugged into a surge protector because it's what I had on hand
