Who said anything about getting Kamoer to change their products? That whole paragraph demonstrates that we are on completely different pages. To make their product 'work' with your Hydros drive port, all you need is to make a cable to plug it in to the drive port. I can easily do...

From the promotional material: If running a Kamoer X1 (with a calculated 0.42A) is pushing the limit of the drive ports then this description of the use of the ports seems to be a little optimistic.

Sorry, it's probably me being overly demanding but this interaction also branches into my other feedback with CoralVue about the lack of instructions (I won't call it a manual any more ;)) and another question I have asked (a hypothetical one about the control method of any potential future...

Still no official response from Coralvue to my question about the Kamoer dosers. I understand that they're probably really busy but, after all, it was them that directed me to this forum for support so, in my opinion, they should be a bit more proactive with providing that support. I'm pretty...

Thanks very much. From my maths that equates to 0.42A, which is well within the advertised 1A limit of the drive port. From the pictures I have seen on the internet it looks like the Kamoer X1 power supply is only rated at 1A anyway, and depending which part of the Coralvue website you look at...

Well seeing as Coralvue distribute the Kamoer dosers, I was hoping you would be able to tell me that.

Is it ok to plug Kamoer X1/X1 PRO dosing pumps into the Hydros drive port (which would be almost permanently on)? If so, how many can be safely daisy chained if using the other drive port for the Hydros ATO? This would remove the need to use the Kamoer power adapter and free up one of the Wifi...

    Inkbird Temp controller on wifi?

I have been informed by Inkbird that on the latest version of the Inkbird 306A you can set the continuous time alarm to zero, which disables it. You then wouldn't have to turn it off and on with the Hydros to reset the time counter. I'm not sure how you can tell which models have this updated...

    Split Control 4

To clarify my 'future proof' comment you have to take it into context. I don't expect a $200 aquarium computer to still be state of the art in 50 years. It is just that, at the apparent rate of development of this product (which is a good thing) it is possible that items purchased now will be...

    Split Control 4

Having previously had an aquarium computer from another manufacturer that died more than once due to a power supply failure (ultimately resulting in the demise of my tank), I am paranoid about power supply redundancy. The Control 4 has everything that I need but then I would want to add a...
