Setting up a new 25g tank and wanted to confirm a few things, if possible.

I have the following Hydros equipment - XP8, X3, Blenny, ATO setup, additional sensor for ATO container.

Is my below thinking correct?

XP8 connected to x3 with data/power cable, X3 connected to blenny, both blenny and XP8 get terminators?

Both XP8 and Blenny have power connected to wall?

Can I dry connect everything before powering up? Should I connect one, shut down, connect the other, and so on and so on?

The tank is still dry, waiting on a few pieces so in the meantime I upgraded my home network and setup separate AP for Hydros to connect on.

I appreciate the help!

You have the setup correct with the power and terminators.

Follow the instructions to create the collective.

I would recommend creating the collective and connecting everything BEFORE installing in the final position. Whenever you add a new item to the collective, you need to power down the whole collective to make the connection. Much easier to do sitting at a desk, then under a cabinet for a tank.

The second thing I would recommend is adding wyze/amazon smart plugs to each controller that is plugged into the wall. This way you can cut the power without taking plug physically out of the wall. It also makes it WAY easier to add something to the collective later. If you have the slightest bit of hesitation about wifi connection add these wifi plugs. I have a single launch on a 120 gallon tank, if the wifi ever goes out and it won't connect again I can power cycle the launch with the wifi plug, otherwise I'd be pulling the plug from the wall every time.
