There is a new app/firmware that will be out later today that should fix this issue. For now use the web-app for the previous version. CoralVue HYDROS App
If you have any issues with the “update config” bar not going away after updating. Or static inputs showing none. Or iV inputs showing red. Use the web app at CoralVue HYDROS App and upload your changes there and see if that fixes your issues.
Same voltage but no the same current capacity. The WELE supply is smaller than the WE supply. You can use the WE supply on a WELE but you can not use the WELE supply on a WE. At one time they may have shipped the WE supply with WELE as well.
- I am going to pre-face this, I have not actually tested this but in theory this will work -
All VorTech pump controllers have a secondary port on the controller for the Ecotech Battery solution. This port usually gets 12V supplied to it from the ETM Battery Pack and when prime power dies...
I know its on the list of possible future enhancements, but thats all I have heard. I've also heard that list is fairly long and I dont know the priority either. They only have a small dev team and alot of time and effort is focused on new products at the moment like Maven, that I do know.
another thing you can try is getting one of those plastic bulb pipettes used to sample water or chemicals, and cut the tip off about 1". Then insert that into the end of the regent down tube into the iV beaker. This reduces the diameter of the output and controls how much acid is released during...
Hydros has 20 years of catch up to do. API/other integrations are on the list but as the priority of those currently, I have no idea. I know they have a huge list of wants and improvements but it all comes down to staffing. So give them time, keep pushing for features and in time they will...
Completely understand, and I agree. When i get a maven, I will still use a X10/iV for my alk testing since its way cheaper to run for more tests. But I will use Maven to spot check my alk every week or so, just as a backup. And calc/mag will be only checked every 1-3 weeks.
As for a...
So looking at the actually Red Sea ReefRun DC 7000, it has a max power rating of 65W. So at 65W/24V, that's about 3A per pump. Now you will want to use the DC/DC booster I have over in this thread: https://forum.coralvuehydros.com/threads/diy-guide-24v-jebao-pumps-on-kraken-battery.2112/ since...
So I only use my 36V booster currently on a backup pump in case i lose power. I do check the pump daily for 15 mins to make sure it still works. And to this point I havent had any issues. But I am not running it all the time anymore. But in the start I did run it 24/7 to test it out, and had no...
