I do have a Sicce SDC 3.0 I use to stir my refugium. I setup the Sicce key in the app. You are limited to the number of times you can change it. I believe the limited number of times includes how often you set the programming to change. For example, if you run it at 50% for a couple of hours...
That is strange. I pretty much every Force port used on my Kraken. I have two ReefRun 7000, one ReefRun 5500, and a DC pump for the RSK300 skimmer, which I assume is close to the 5500. I also have the ReefDose, ReefMat (both 12v) and a Minnow connected. No issues with shutdowns. The 7000's...
my M16 connector numbers / order is the same.
When I unplugged to check the connector, sparks flew when I connected it back. Guess I should have turned it off first. Oh well, everything still works.
The force port cable used to come with a gender bender which I believe also switches the...
Also, Looks like on my ReefRun 5500, which I use to pump from the sump to the refugium, I did the "cut the wire from the brick" method. I guess I ran out of M16 connectors. :). it works.
well, it's been a while since I made the cables. Let me access one of mine and I'll take a look to verify. I'm also going to find my old post to see if I listed it there.
I replied to your email. you are correct on above.
Other options mentioned in the email - instead of cutting the force port cable, you can get another pigtail:

Yep, I understand....very small to work with.
As far as the not going back to the brick, well, you can. Just connect back and use the heat shrink tubing.
Worse case. Well, @Danny may have to back me up on this, but it "shouldn't" destroy the Kraken nor the pump. It just won't work. I don't...
Yep, that should work. Also, you can use those connectors for the M16 head. You have options!
Going the M16 "custom connector route may be the more "elegant" route, but that means doing some jumpers and working with the small screws. It will work.
Like I said, you have options. Since...
since I can't do this in DMs....
you could cut anywhere in the highlighted area. Then splice that to a barrel to connect to Force port. That or wait for your M16 connector to come in and wire that.
14 gauge or larger for 24v should work. FYI, those screws are very small and some are VERY tight. I also connected my ReefMat to the Kraken, but that was with a drive port - 12v. Those used a M11 or 12 connector....can't remember off the top of my head.
KenS, I just DM'd you back. Here I noticed you purchased the screw type. That is a LOT easier to deal with than the weld. Still, working with small components is always a challenge.
Did you purchase a Force port cable also?
Sorry for the late reply.
In an earlier post in this thread, I have this:
Picked up a couple of M16 connectors and female barrel connectors with cable. The pin out of the Kraken Force port matches the RS ReefRun connectors, just in a slightly different order. Just pay attention to the pin...
