Nice! I don't see anything that looks off to my eyes. Here are both my Krakens detail metrics.

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

Ken, after receiving your Force Port cables you will be pleased to learn that both your cables checked out with no shorts or incorrect pins by my understanding and use of the Sicce 24v power supplies (I am driving SDC 1200 PSK pumps in particular) - your cables match my cables without shorts or...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

Ken - those a great surge protectors - I use the same ones (varying number of outlets) on tanks and a variety of equipment for my business. In answer to your question, connectors *can* be tested and I am happy to take a look at your connectors and test them the way I tested those I use for my...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

Sorry to hear they are dead. I suspect your meter needs to be told whether its measuring AC or DC current. When you measure again while it's connected try pressing the orange button upper left - that may get it to switch to DC and show 24V. Also in general connect Black first, then Red when...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

I would keep everything unplugged (power off, disconnect Kraken) until hooked up to be safe and of course be very careful with the probes when the Meanwell is powered up. See the setting I use on my Multimeter - that setting measures AC and DC voltage (Big V with a dotted line and a straight...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

Ken - good question re the fuse - Michael was very responsive with me as well - I'm sure he can answer that for you. Do *not* feel like a complete fool - this is not easy stuff - and while I appreciate the simplicity of the world I had with tanks 30 years ago the truth is vacations and business...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

Ken, while I don't work for Coralvue/Hydros I'm really sorry for the trouble you're having. I also have thousands invested in livestock and automation including Hydros, and anytime something fails I re-evaluate my setup, my vendors, and myself. A few suggestions, and others please chime in...

    Hydros fan control for cooling?

Apologies I should have been mode descriptive/explicit. You are correct - I went with computer fans with 4 pins: Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 IP67 PWM,... They are IP67 as you can see, they’re very quiet (everything is relative) and they come in different sizes depending in my case on Sump openings...

    Kraken Battery Power Mode

Thanks for the reply - regrettably the equipment I am wishing to run in *Low Power Mode* will not run with 12V (Red Sea uses Sicce I believe, same issue as your Sicce) - so UPS is my only option (for that equipment chain) with the expected detractions.

    Hydros fan control for cooling?

I would imagine that *would* work with testing etc - and I plan on exploring it when my current list of aquarium projects gets shorter... For my sumps I chose to go with simple On/Off based on temperature *however* I did not want the fans running at 100% (too loud) so I bought some of these to...

Sicce SDC 7.0 Pump connection to Kraken Force Port 24v

I just finished switching two tanks over to two Krakens this past weekend and I want to thank all of you - all of your posts have been very helpful in understanding what to expect. In my case both tanks are Red Sea with Red Sea pumps, skimmers, wave, etc, but I use SICCE for UV and utility (sump...

    Kraken Battery Power Mode

May I ask what booster(s) did you purchase and where specifically did you place it/them in the chain? On the Force Port in question or in the battery chain? My equipment also demands 24V and I wish the Kraken supported 24V coming *in* the battery port ;) Thanks in advance for any information.
