Has anyone ever made a DIY RODI flow sensor? I saw that Hydros used to make one but it's discontinued and I would like to make my own and would rather not have to reinvent the process if someone has already tackled this!

Nearly all the flow meters you will find on ali or amazon will work. The main thing is Hydros use a dual pulse I believe and most sensors are single pulse so you might have to select a larger flow meter in the drop down to get the right equivalent flow rate on some of the smaller meters, nothing a jug and a stop watch can't fix.

Many of the Amazon Gredia flow sensors were modified to worknwith Hydros before they introduced their own sensors i have used *pex and Sea sensors. Just need to find one with a compatible pulse rate. Got this from engineering quite a while ago.

LPM is FreqHz / C. So LPH = (FreqHz / C) * 60.

C is a constant defined by the flow sensor model according to the following table:

FM-025 - 1600.0
FM-050 - 7.5
FM-075 - 5.5
FM-100 - 1.0
FM-125 - 0.45
FM-150 - 0.5
FM-200 - 0.2
