App & Firmware Update

New firmware 315 and App 2.6.3 (263) are now available.

The firmware is compatible with all HYDROS Controllers except for the IceCap WiFi Controller. The current firmware version for the IceCap WiFi controller is 263.

IMPORTANT:

• NEVER, EVER, EVER update your firmware if you are not in the same location as your controller.
  The firmware requires App 2.6.3 (233). You must first download the latest app from the app store to update the latest firmware. If you are using the web app, please clear your browser's cache so it also updates to the new app.
• CHECK YOUR OVERRIDES! Always check your overrides after a firmware update.

I cannot see the latest app on the app store. Why?

• It can take Apple and Google up to 24 hours to push the update to every one of their servers. If you are not seeing the new app yet, please allow a few hours and check again.
• Due to a recent change by Google, new apps no longer support Android OS 5 or older devices. If you have an older Android device, it may no longer be compatible with the HYDROS app.
• You do not have "Automatic Update" enabled. You must manually update the app by going to the App or Play Store and tapping "Upgrade."

Are you on Vacation and Need Access to the previous app version?
If you are on vacation and cannot update the firmware immediately, you can access your devices via the Web App (Previous). Note that if you update the firmware, you cannot use the old app.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Download the new version of the app from your app store
Step 2: Download and install the latest firmware version. You must first download App version 2.6.3 (263) before updating to the newest firmware version.
