How does Hydros Control 4 compare to Apex?

Here are some quick comparisons between the Hydros Control 4 starter pack and the 2 common packages from Neptune Systems (Apex El and full Apex).

I like the comparison chart - I think where the hydros will shine is really for the newer Reefer where it costs $500 to get into the Apex ecosystem. I think that’s why the BRS Apex edition wasn’t continued - while you got the Apex head unit and probes for $250 - the EB832 plug bar would cost $280 to add to the system. So you are still over $500 to have any kind of control.

I love competition, most of the time it’s better for consumers with better products and hopefully better prices.
