For the first week iv had no issues. Now 2 days in a row I get to work in the morning and get a notification that hydros lost connection. It will not reconnect unless I power cycle. This is pretty disappointing that I'm looking for support less than 2 weeks into owning this thing.

I have not had to power cycle any of my Controllers. It would be a pain to do it since I have 15 of them in the collective and there is also more than one source of battery backup. I have had to reboot an individual controller in the app a time or two. The only time I have lost communications is when the internet is down and that happens several times a day but there is no issue when it comes back up.

I have the same question and issue. I'm a new Hydros customer as well, and one of the main reasons getting the controllers was to be able to monitor my tank when I'm not home, and to get the notifications. The fact that it can't reconnect unless you power cycle defeats the whole purpose. Wonder if Apex would have been a better route?

I would contact support that is not right. I used to have disconnects several times a day because of my crappy internet dropped all the time but never had to reboot the devices and I have allot. I started getting outages once in a while again but still do not have to reboot. Could be a bad device maybe or it could be your wifi or router. There is allot of not so good Wifi devices and routers out there. Especially ones from isp's.

It really does not know either if it is internet drop, router drop, Wifi drop. What is causing the drop?
