I have a complete collective running my main display system using the X4, XP8 and Wave Engine. I extended that through a data cable to my garage to do the following
1. Automate my RO/DI (8 Stage system with Cloramine Monster included, booster and auto flush by BRS) so it runs when either my Kalkwasser or RO/DI Water container need it.
2. Salt Water mixing station (2x 55 gallon Brute Trash cans with hard plumbing and a external pump).
3. Kalwasser Container (14 gallon container)
My current Hydros Equipment in the Garage in the same collective as my Main Display
1. X2 - with 2 optical water sensors for High and Low of my Kalwasser, and 2 Water Solenoid valves (1 in front of the RODI Filters to stop the intake when not needed, 1 in front of the Kalwasser refill line off the RO/DI filter out.
2. XS - 3 Sensors (2 optical water level sensors for High and low of my RO/DI Resevoir (55 gallon brute can), 1 Temp sensor for the Salt Water temp.
3. 2 Wifi Strips for power
- 1 to the RODI Filter
- 1 for Icecap Heater controller with 2 heater elements in the Saltwater Resevoir and 1 for the pump for the saltwater mixing station
My hopes are:
1. Use the X2 and XS sensors to control the RODI filter on/off automation for both the Kalk Res and the RODI Res.
2. Use the X2 and XS Sensors and Solenids to open the flow to the Kalk wasser if low and if high but the RODI is low then close the Kalk Solenoid so the water will redirect to RODI Res., and if both Kalk and RODI are full, shut off RODI Filter and close the intake solenoid.
3. Activate or shut off the heater on the Saltwater Res if temp is low.
Not sure if a diagram is needed to get your feedback but I'm using the Hydros "RO/DI Template" to do some of this automation but now that I've added the Kalkwasser Res High/Low and Solenoid, I am a bit lost on how to include that into the RO/DI Template or a custom config.
