So imnetioned I’m in the fence not sure if i get the xp4 pro or the launch I wanna have all my probes ph salinity temp but as well I wanna hook up my tunze ato pump to without using the power brick which would be best I have mp40s as well as radion LEDs but not sure they are compatible with any hydros controller

The X4 has 4 0-10v outputs that the Launch does not have. Not sure how you would use those on a ATO. What port were you going to use for thr Tunze ATO pump? If it is a drive port the X4 only has 2 and the Launch has 4. Those are 12v DC power ports.

wanna eliminate the power brick from the tunze as well im new to the hydros controller trying to learn

Not sure but it’s a small pump 12volt would like to control via one of the ports rather than a outlet

There is only 12v drive ports which will supply 12v DC but it varies as to current limit depending on which controller they are on. There is the 24v DC force port which is only on the Kraken and the regular controlled AC outputs. If you pumps power input is anything besides 12v and 24v DC it would required a DC to DC converter to convert from 12 or 24v to the voltage needed. That would be the same as a power supply so you would not gain anything doing that as far as getting rid of supplies.

ok so for what im looking for which would you recommend launch or xp4 pro
Both have drive ports the Launch has 4 drive ports and the X4 in the X4 Pro Pack has 2 but they are 12v and I have no idea what voltage you pump needs since I do not have anything that is that brand. The Launch does not have an 0-10v outputs but if you do not plan on using those as control signals for lighting or pumps then that will not matter. Also the Pro Pack has 8 AC outlets which have power monitoring and the Launch only has 4 AC outlet but they do not have power monitoring. The Launch only has 1 probe port but instead of the second it has a salinity port which the X4 does not have. So it really depends on what you want or need as to which one would be best but with either you can always add another controller when you need more ports.

Was leaning toward the launch due to the salinity probe bit at the same time I’m always using my Hanna salinity probe meter to see where it’s at I’ll figure it out thnks for the help
