I decided to start back up a tank from over a year ago. Since I've moved wifi name and password and Hydros firmware changed.
I was able to connect my Control 4, wave LE, and 4 Outlet AC Power Strips. However all of the outputs for the Power Strip say Restart WiFi Device but WiFi Devices reports Responding. Below are all the things I've tried to rule out Mesh routers.

I have tried connecting on these routers:
eero PoE 6 - was able to connect but same issue Restart WiFi Device (temporary disabled 5G and connected 2.4G). This is a non-isolated network and I have other Hydros running sucessfully on this (but there are no 4 Outlet AC PowerStrips on this tank)
TP Link Mesh X60 only one unit and only 2.4G turned on error Restart WiFi Device continued, isolated network to try and get this running (2nd port on ISP router)
TP Link AX3000 non mesh router and only 2.4G turned on error Restart WiFi Device continued, isolated network (2nd port on ISP router)

I'm able to see the devices connected to the right routers so I know there's no mis-matches there

Both controllers were running 323 but updated to 348. Attempted to Revert to 323 and try on that version but unable to get CoralVue HYDROS App to work and it said I had to update to 348, so I'm back on 348 and still having the Restart WiFi Device.

Any suggestions as I really don't want to have to invest in an XP8 at this time.

I’m have the same problem. I also tried to revert back to an earlier firmware but it said it won’t work with the app.

I’m in the same boat. Been running around in circles with a support ticket. Really don’t think it’s anything on my end in terms of network, passwords, devices, etc. The ONLY thing that was changed was I had to re-do my collective. All my devices are connected to the same network and I’ve checked all the boxes that need to be checked. Something seemed to have changed.

@TampaReef hopefully you submitted a ticket, the more cases like this they see maybe they’ll find an actual issue.

I have the current firmware and 4 wifi strips and a wifi feeder and have not had any issues with them. So if it was a firmware issue I would also be having the issues and I don't. I have not had any issues between the wifi strips and my controllers since I replaced my router back in December but I was having 2-3 disconnects a week before I replaced it.

I’d love to find out why my WiFi strip and feeder worked on my network just last week, and now they don’t because they’re part of a new collective. Something doesn’t make sense here.

Yes I did submit a support ticket yesterday. I tried 3 different routers, turning off all settings that I could think of that might effect this. I don't have any more routers to try at this point and I'm not buying a 4th to have it do the same thing.

You could try replacing one of your strips with itself and see if it works and let us know? That's the process I'm using so I don't loose my configuration.

I then reconnected my control 4 and wave engine to my main 2.4g Wi-Fi router not the access point. Once connected I unplugged both the control and wave engine to allow them to reboot. I then went into the Wi-Fi devices in the app and did a replace on the strips one at a time. About 15 seconds after the first strip connected the plugs came alive. I replaced the remaining two strips and they are all working again.

I just replaced my Wifi strips in the app and the outputs are now working without the restart wifi message. I did the same replace over the weekend like 10 times and it never worked. I'm convinced something wasn't working on the Hydros platform that was causing this.

Yep. Something was misfiring it seemed.

There has not been an app or firmware release in a while. The paring is done via bluetooth from the device you have the app on. The wifi strips are a Tuya protocol device but I don't think that the Tuya cloud is involved in the communications between the controller and the wifi strips. It is all done local to your wifi. I have 4 of the wifi strips and have had no issues since I replaced my router in December. Not sure what the issue might have been.
