DIY 4 Head Doser 0-10V Port

Thank you, I wanted it to blend in with my other hydros equipment. We'll see how it works for low volume dosing.
 
That looks great! I always enjoy a DIY project. My motto is "Over-Engineered Solutions to Problems you Didn't Know you had"! Now you need a 3D printer...

Unfortunately, there isn’t a straight forward parts list for this. The few of us that have done this have used different brands and types of pumps, different flow rates, gear ratios, and tubing depending on our dosing needs, as well as different enclosures depending on our mounting needs. Frankly, considering the time and cost to build this, if the X10 was available, I would have bought it. It’s everything I need in one box that’s designed for hydros, and most importantly, it has a warranty 😀.

What do you all think of using a small PWM controller to control pump speed?


Thinking of using it with this pump:


I figure the output form the OONO would go to this switch - and I can preset the mL/m and control it with Hydros using time. Thoughts?
 
That seems like it would work. Would you really need the speed to be adjustable though when you can just adjust how many ml you pump at a time through configuration?

I guess it depends on how much you are trying to dose at a time. I have seen those really low volume pumps (1~2mL/m) and was thinking it might be great to have at least two on adjusters to dial it down.

The pumps on the X10 can be adjusted within the Hydros system to meet the needs.
 
Here is what I built. Still have to test it. Two of the pumps have voltage speed controllers with LCD screen so I can set them.

Well... I went and did it. I started ordering the parts to build my own doser thanks to this thread.

I have 8 Kamoer 3v, 5.4ml/m dosers on the way. Now I have to hit Amazon for the rest of the stuff.

Parts started trickling in. The buck convertors are TINY, and the relay board seems very nice. The only issue is the relay board has options for high and low triggers set by jumpers (pretty straight forward), but came with NO documentation about what that actually means. Guess I'll have to do some testing to find out.

Still waiting on a few more things and then I'll be able to get started.

Where did you find that black project box? All I can find are white ones. I can paint a white one, but if I could find a black one, that's be sweet and save me some time.
 
Thank you for inspiring! Did my Doser. Works great. Powered with 12v Kraken port.
The only thing could be better if developers could make reservoir level notification when a capacity is less than 0.1 liters. For example, I use microdosing and my dosing reservoir is only 0.2 liters. It would be better if this parameter could be adjusted to 0.05 liters or even less. Now I can’t adjust it lower than 0.1 L.
If you decide diy buy Doser motor with BPT tube (not a silicone)
