You can but it would require more than one output to do it. I used to do that to refill my reservoirs with DI before they came out with the RODI filter output. My guess is you can probably use that output type to do it also and just don't setup a flush valve or booster pump output settings. It would be great to be able to have the ATO pump trigger at a low float and then turn off at the high float. I don’t see a way you can accomplish this with the and/or functionality using wet / dry values.
I have a build thread on Reef Central that has how I did it before they cam out with the RODI filter type output if you want to see how I did it. Here is a link Hex Tank Build . Post #99 has the outputs for refill of the DI reservoir and also info on how they work. It is on page 5.It would be great to be able to have the ATO pump trigger at a low float and then turn off at the high float. You can make it as complex as you want using the generic output type. My ATO output has 5 inputs controlling it and that output does not have an output device since I am using a Sole for the ATO pump that is setup on a separate output. The ATO output type is a way to easily setup a simple ATO output if you want something more complex then you can but it requires a more advanced setup.Ok I could do that since the pump and the relay to run the pump are two separate outlets on my XP8 at my RO station
But it would be nice to have a cleaner way to do that! Specially, since there’s a ATO function, to me it seems like a no-brainer to have a start input and a stop input based on two water levels , and even smarter to have a third option as an emergency optical backup in case a float fails (or vice versa)

So I finally got around to doing this and set the ATO up exactly like the RODI without Flush or Boost and it works perfectly. I'm not sure why the ATO function doesn't have a setup option like this. My Shurflo pump is in the garage and it draws from the 100gal RODI tank and I didn't want it cycling on and off trying to maintain a water level just wanted it to maintain a range to ensure pumps aren't sucking in air.You can but it would require more than one output to do it. You can also use minimum off time and minimum on time in the advanced settings to keep it from cycling frequently. Minimum off time would require it to remain off that amount of time before it can come back on.So I finally got around to doing this and set the ATO up exactly like the RODI without Flush or Boost and it works perfectly. Before this I just had it hitting the low float and running for 2mins. This is much cleaner.
