2ml/min dosing pump question

I keep losing prime on this doser and get ~20 seconds of air pumped out each time it runs. I have clamped hoses at the connectors on the pump tubing to be sure no air is being introduced there. The run from the reservoir to the pump is about 18" and the run from the pump to where it is dispensed is about 5'. I'm not sure what else to do.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Sounds like there is an air leak somewhere.

Do you connect to a bulkhead at the reservoir? I always suggest using a stem to barb adapter ar the bulkhead and consider gluing the acrylic tubing below the bulkhead inside the container.

There is no bulkhead. The tube to the supply goes directly into the reservoir and the end is completely submerged. The only fitting are the barbs on the pump tubing and I have clamped these to ensure no air leaks.
