you would have to have it in a collective with a controller with sense ports and have a temp sensor connected to one of the sense ports. Here is a couple of screenshot of my output for my cooling fans and they are on an XP8 output. I have 2 temp sensors one is on an X3 controller and the other is on an X10 controller. At least one is required.
