Hi all,

I've been running my A100 pump off of my wave engine and the 0-10v communication cable hooked into the Abyzz converter cable. It reads on the Abyzz display as 60% (which is what it showed prior to hooking up the wave engine plus flows at the same rate per my lack of overflow noise) and responds correctly when I set it to turn off during feed mode.

However the display always reads 0.7 GPM even when off:

I attached the settings I've got on the device as well. The pump is 1,880 gph at peak (assuming minor head loss and the 60% power) and probably shouldn't read 0.7 on here correct?

Any way to have it correctly display?

Can tell by the 0-10v flow sensor input you're doing something a little out of the norm. At least not using Hydros flow sensors. If you were to put a volt meter inline pretty sure you would see very low voltage coming in even though the pumps are off. If so, the source is upstream. Think it may be noise coming from your flow sensor or the conditioning board not tuned to send exactly 0.0v (0gph) if you're outputing 4-20mv from the flow sensor.

Yeah I'm not running any flow sensors, I'm just trying to use the wave engine to control the Abyzz (during feed modes, increasing or decreasing flow during "storms" when I'm cleaning rocks, and not having to burn another XP8 power plug). However it reads that same 0.7 whether the Abyzz is on or off

Makes sense now. Your configuration is incorrect. Thought I was looking at a flow sensor input based on the config. The Wave Engine is not presentlt controlling the pump. You need to create an output, not an input. Delete the existing. Create an output resembling this.

This is a simple schedule which always runs at 60%. If you want to vary the pump speed the uncheck Runs Constantly. The screen will change to display speed limit and external schedules. The speed limit dictates minimum and maximum schedules are permitted to run at. Then create one or more flow pattern schedules from the left dropdown. Schedules can be active based on mode or time of day. Try to avoid overlap with same start or end time. Repetative patterns such as hourly hurricane are fine. Otherwise overlapping flow pattern schedules are a little problematic because Hydros uses a hash to determine which runs in the event of overlap. Read between the lines, unpredictable. Lighting schedules on the other hand are very predictable as the schedule with higher intensity prevails.

Unsure how varying return flow is going to work out. I'd foresee it resulting in fluctuating sump levels falsely triggering ATO when percentage increased and overflow noise until it settles if it even settles.
