Hello, I want to start by saying I am very green when it comes to Hydros. With that said I am trying to setup the AWC output on my WB P25.

At this point I have the ATO setup in the back chamber on the return side. (realize now I didn't need to set this up possibly)

However I'm not sure this is the best location to perform the water change. But If I understand the AWC function in the app it needs the ATO high senser to make this work.

What I want to do is the following.

Turn off the return pump (plugged into single Hydros WiFi plug)
Wait 30sec for display to level off
Using Minnow pump 1 drain to low level sensor (main tank) about 1g of water daily
Using Minnow pump 2 fill to high level sensor (main tank)
Turn on return pump

This is what I am picturing but will take any suggestions.

Pic of current ATO in back chamber.

Thank You

The built in AWC output is not designed to do that. All pumps need to stay on during a water change for it to work. The water level will go up in the sump when you turn off the return pump and skimmer. So it would then be above the ATO full water level that is used for ATO. If you need to change more than what can be removed and leave the pumps on then split the AWC into multiple times a day. I have mine split into 4 times a day 6 hours apart.

That sucks... lol Thank you for your reply. Guess I need to request this be added to the app in the future. It would be great if this was allowed for all-in-one tanks.

I thought I had this working yesterday. But it would not turn the return pump back on.
What I did:
Added 2 more water sensors: AWC High and AWC Low
Then I went into the Return Pump output and said Depends on AWC = Off if On

When time to start it turned off the return pump performed the water change but at the end would not turn the return pump back on.

So I think I am close just need to maybe reach out to support.

Or maybe it's just not going to happen right now.

Thank You for your reply

Also to use the built in AWC the ATO pump has to be a part of it and also the high level sensor is also the ATO sensor so not sure that output will work. You kay be able to do it with multiple generic outputs on timers and disable the ATO while it is running using depends on. Also on the return make sure ad see if you have a minimum off time setup if so when using the depends on to power it off the minimum off time does not start until the depends on has cleared.

If you can, would you mind sending me a pic of how you have your AWC configured?

Thanks
Chris

Here is a link to my build thread on Reef Central and on page 11 it has the way I currently have mine setup using smart dosing pumps. The starting post is 214 for the current setup. I have done it several ways in the past and those settings are also in that thread. When things get changed on the controllers I do take advantage of the new ways to do things as they come out.
