Can the Hydros control Kessil lights?

I am sure you can. If I remember correctly on channel controls intensity and the other controls the color unless they have changed things.

Yes, it can control Kessil lights, but we do not sell the cable. You can make your own cable if you want. If you have the Kessil light with the regular 3.5mm stereo jack, here is a post from someone who already created the cable and has it working perfectly on a different light that also uses one 3.5mm stereo jack for both 0-10V channels...

I wish I could find it but someone did metioned doing the Kessil with a Kessil Apex cable.
I will keep looking. Might have been on the FB group.

OK this was from @JeffB418 on FB:
I have not tried it yet myself. Jeff would this work and any idea on the programing?

Oh this is easy then. Buy one of these from Coralvue HYDROS WaveEngine APX Link this adapts 0-10V ports from Hydros to the apex RJ45 pin out. Then buy an Apex to Kessil adapter Kessil to Neptune Apex Control Cable - Kessil then finally get a RJ45 female to female coupler from Amazon (RJ45 Coupler in-Line Coupler Cat7 Cat6 Cat5 Cat5e Network Cable Extender Adapter, Support 100BASE-TX (1 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071HPC49...YvEfq6NjS6s8rJeGJuCdqgegBkEUza0LftjA_X6SbF9t8 and use that to join the Hydros apx cable to the Kessil adapter.

I beleive this is the pinout:

I ordered the kessil/apex adapter but a diff rj45 coupler that doesn’t have a PCB. Someone else was having issues with this coupler above. I’m gonna test it and see it works on the kessil I have.

@JeffB418 Jeff, did this end up working?

And if I have 2 Kessil AP9Xs, how many of the Hydros 0-10V outputs will I need for each? I have 2 of them used up for controlling my 2 Tunze Stream3s.

Will I need 1 for each AP9X, or 2? In which case, what is the cheapest Hydros controller with an 0-10V Output (I currently use X4 for mine).

Thanks,
Alex

AP9X are not 0-10V controllable. They do not have input ports, only output ports.
