I'm completely confused with this system and frankly ready to through it out the window. I'm trying program this to run 9 different valves and a pump. basically i need the pump to turn on each time a valve turns on, these valve will also need to be program to run ones or twice a week. i also need to have 2 valves set up so i can run them 4 times a day for 5 mins each time. this is a automatic water changes for several large fish and shrimp systems. each valve represents one system.

What kind of valves and pump?

Not sure there is a way to do only specific days of the week yet. I think I heard Carlos mention scheduling coming in a couple of weeks. That is for flow pumps but I think you can use a virtual output setup as a flow pump and use that output to turn on the specific valve you want. As far as the pump is it the same pump that is required with each valve. If so that is doable. How many valves are there?

Sorry so there are 11 valves and 2 come on 4 times a day for 5 minutes. The 2 valves 4 times a day is currently doable. What time of day do you want them to start and do these need to start the same pump?

I want it to start the at 9am for the first cycle. No there's no pump on these 2 valves. It's under pressure from the source.

How much time between the start times? Do both valves use the same on times?

Valves open every 6 hours. Each valve will be done at different times. 9 for valve 1. And 910 for valve 2.

Ok I have the outputs setup with screenshots below. The first two are for the first valve. I named it Valve 1 but you can use a different name. It uses the Generic Type with a Input Count if 0. You have to slide over the numbers from side to side to change the count. Has Schedule is turned On. You will have to choose the output decice for that valve. Enable Advanced Settings is turned on. Start Time s set to 9:00 AM. Run Time s set for 5 minutes. Run Count s set to 4. Run Interval is set to 6 hours. Valve 2 below is the same settings except for the start time which is set to 9:10 AM. I just happened to finish setting them up at the time when Valve 2 would be on and it was so I took a screenshot of the screen. Try it out and check to see if it works as planned.

Ok start time is the time you want the first on time to start in 24hr time. Run time is how long you want it to run each time. Run count is how many times total you want it to run each day. Run Interval is the time difference between the start times of each occurrence. Hope this helps if not let me know.

That helps alot. What's the min off max off and the min on max on about?

Ok, minimum off time if it is set to say one hour the output will not turn back on after it turns off until that time expires. Minimum on time if set will keep the output on for that time regardless of the other settings. Only the Depends On setting will override these Settings. Maximum off time if set will send an alert if that time is exceeded. Maximum on time will send an alert if the time set is exceeded. There is also a run past maximum setting if this is off the output will turn off once max on time is exceeded. Once you set a maximum on or off time it will allow you to set the alert type.
