Hi,

so I bought a Turbelle Stream 6155 recently, to replace a failing older tunze on the 4-corner pattern. I tried installing it today (life has been busy so it’s been sat waiting for a while). Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work when controlled by the hydros - it sputters (starts, runs for a second, *click*, stops. Wait a few secs, maybe repeat).

the powerhead works fine using its own controller, but that’s not what I bought it for, I want it working with the WaveEngine. has anyone else seen this or have any ideas ?

What 0-10V range are you using? Tunze does not use the standard 0-10V but instead they use 0-6.5V. You need to change that on the 0-10V range and that should fix the problem.

A-ha!

Thank you - I'll give that a try :) I'd tried turning it down a little bit (to ~9v) in case it was just going past some limit, but it never occurred to me that they'd not use the full range.

The older Tunze Turbelles must have some voltage-limiting hardware then, because there's 3 other (all older) ones on there working just fine at 0..10v - but these are all 5 years old or so. I think I'll turn these down as well!

Thanks again :)

Did you end up solving your issue? I’m having similar issues with a couple 6095s.
