Hi,

I saw a previous post on this with no official answer so I'm asking here. Is there API access into Hydros cloud or directly to the controllers? I was hoping to gather log data and perform automation and long-term log tracking.

Best,
Ricardo

Yeah, I have this thread watched and was excited when I saw new responses to the thread. Unfortunately, these are not the responses I was hoping for.

Yeah, that is definitely on the list of things to add in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot give you an ETA, but I can assure you that it is on the list.
Found this thread from Google and just want to say that I've been looking into which aquarium controller to get and the fact there is no API for the Hydros is a dealbreaker. I see that Apex Neptune has endpoints to get data and can be pulled into Grafana and Home Assistant, so I'm going to have to go with that product. Just wanted to chime in so you're aware that not having a developer API is in fact losing you potential sales in case it helps prioritize this feature for future potential customers.

I've recently switched to Hydros from Apex. One of the things I loved most about the Apex was the ability to pull the data from the endpoint and create my own Grafana Dashboard. It was much more robust and easier to navigate than the Hydros dashboard. I'm very disappointed that this capability isn't already native to the Hydros system. Please add this feature soon and stay ahead of the 'curve' Carlos.

Definitely watching. From what I can tell this is using the AWS IoT APIs under the hood, I was hoping to extract both my Apex and new X10 data out into a single dash

At Reef-a-Palooza California, I spoke with David D'Aquin about this, and it sounded like this request doesn't really have a significant strategic priority to Coralvue. Carlos, with such a powerful platform to leverage, is there an update on providing this API? Seems like 2025 should remove proprietary platform problems of the 1980's.

They have ignored this for over a year. And they don't intend to address it. It is very anti-consumer and they don't care about the end consumer anyways. Don't buy into their charade.
