Good to know. Thank you. The Octo 4s were still running after 24 hours. This is more than enough time to fire up our gas generator. The WE2 is a great addition to our 120 gallon reef tank.

Here we are 24 hours later and both my octo 4s are still running but no longer at 50%. Hydros show only 2 watts consumption down from 5 watts total when they first switched to battery back up. This is very good news and I imagine that with a larger marine type battery these pumps would go for 5...

The answer is yes. I have a TalentCell Mini UPS dc output connected to the WE2 power in with an icecap battery cable. I have the WE2 set to low power/battery mode/schedule. Both octo 4 pumps are running at 50% power. I am logging the run time and will report back here.
