Got home yesterday, XP8 was blinking WIFI. Powering everything fixed it, but looks like there is a possibility for the whole thing to get stuck like that forever with only solution a power cycle of the whole collective, which is unfortunate when you are not there. So I guess I will need to add...
It's not power, it's internet that went out and i guess XP8 never rejoined. Which seems like rather big potential problem if you're away when this happens. Not sure if outlets would still do right things on it.
So again just trying to figure out if this is expected behavior or what can be done...
I'm not home at the moment, so can't really do anything about it now, but looks like xp8 did not reconnect to internet after local maintenance (got email about that from ISP) Although maybe something else gone wrong.
This is just sitting in the closet while I set tank up, so not a big deal...
Ok figured something out, not sure if best way, but seem to work.
Output that goes nowhere and turn on based on switch. Schedule that runs always at set brightness and depends on this output off when off. Seem to override normal schedule as well as i set it a bit brighter.
So I have a power outlet into which light is plugged in, dimmer on 0-10v output that dims the light, and schedule that controls the dimmer. outlet depend on dimmer off if off.
This all works fine (maybe not the best way to do it, but I do not want to power LED driver when dimmer is sending 0v...
Thanks for the response! I wouldn't think it would block too much and I guess I could go with 2" version to reduce any restrictions from measurement chamber size.
One more question :) I see few people complain about thread sizing on these, looks like you have them on standard pvc, any issues...
Was connecting a door reed switch today and noticed something weird with one of the input channels.
Channel 1 is connected to power loss detection relay and is normally reading 2.5v
Channel 2-4 all also read 2.5v
If I connected reed switch to channel 2. In open state it read 2.5 on debug...
Sure, I understand that. But drop down does say IceCap 4k and that is what's plugging in =) other what's the point in all those pump profiles if not run them correctly by default.
Just got wave engine le with icecap 4k gyre. Mounted horizontally with logo as well as magnet writing correct way up, pump outputs downward and intakes from the top. That seems more of a reverse direction. Also at 100% this consumes something like 24watts. Checking in pump's settings something...
So no API to access at least current state of the device? That way I could at least make a custom webpage that would poll info at some rate and have a layout of data I want.
Any idea when these will be available?
Can sort of put it together through buying parts, but aside from costing more that way, bus cable also seems out of stock.
