    Hydros RODI Setups

Depends on your supply pressure. Filters tend to work better at slightly higher pressures

Allow child outputs to be referenced in Combiners/Depends

I concur with this suggestion, I have wanted to use certain outputs of profiles that generate multiple outputs for controlling other things.

Control X4 and Varios 2 return pump

You can control your varios 2 pump with the 0-10V output by using the Output Type Constant or Return Pump. Set the OFF voltage to 0V and then the ON voltage to your desired ON speed. I use this for my calcium reactor pump. I run it at 30% so I set the ON speed to 3V. Select the output to one of...

New Output Type - Notification/Alarm Linking

It would be nice to have a new type of output in Hydros that would allow users to link the state of RED/ORANGE/YELLOW to a physical output. Under this new output type, I would envisioning having check boxes for each alert level that you'd want to tie to this output. So for example if I had a...

Set up Varios 2 to WE direct drive

Direct Drive ports can only be assigned in the Output Type of Flow Pump only. Switch the pump type and you will be able to select type Varios 2 or 4. You will also have to now make a schedule as well to turn on that pump, but you can easily make a schedule that runs 24/7.

    Number of wifi devices

8 is the limit. Hydros will reliably work with 8. Once you go above that it uses more processing power to keep up communication. So while it may work, do know that reliability in communication can be affected.

    0-10V Output Drive Port Extender

If the load is low power, FETs sometimes won’t turn off. But they tend to last longer. But for your application I’d go relays

    0-10V Output Drive Port Extender

I found another relay module that will take 0-10V inputs directly recently and came up with a design for how to use it with a common DC voltage supply for powering/controlling 4 devices that use the same DC voltage (12V or 24V). I started a new thread for this design here...

DIY 0-10V Output DC Relay Interface

Here is a simple DIY project for using the 4 0-10V output channels of a WE or X4 to control 4 DC outputs. This is handy if you have devices that run off a common DC voltage (either 12V or 24V since they are very common for aquarium devices) that you'd have to be able to turn off and on using...
