It would be nice to have a new type of output in Hydros that would allow users to link the state of RED/ORANGE/YELLOW to a physical output. Under this new output type, I would envisioning having check boxes for each alert level that you'd want to tie to this output. So for example if I had a Wi-Fi outlet in my bedroom that was connected to a lamp with a colored bulb(or even a buzzer) I could tie any or all of the 3 alert levels to turn out the wifi outlet if any of my alert levels went off. My bedroom is far away from my tank and I can not hear the buzzer, and at night my alerts are silenced, so having another option for a physical alert would be nice.
This option would also allow users to make "false" outputs based off alert levels to use as feedback/control to other outputs. For example, if all my RED level notifications are only tied to leak sensors, I could then make a false output that would only turn ON when RED level alerts occurred. Then use that false output to disable all pumps using the "depends on" input for each of my return pumps or wavemakers. This would allow dynamic and advanced feedback control using notifications.
Another option would for this output would be assignment to a 0-10V output. It would be nice to be able to set a specific voltage level output for each alert level enabled. IE RED -> 10V, ORANGE ->6V, YELLOW -> 4V. Have red alerts have priority over orange, and org over yellow. This way advanced users could link voltages to LED colors and do some more advanced things too!
