But the Hydros pump only has the drive port connection I believe. So if he buys a power supply without that connection? Am I missing something?

Right, but does it come with the end to connect to the drive port connector on a hydros doser?

It shouldn't matter. The orientation mainly effects the sensor away from where the water enters and bubbles may set off the motor.

And I was wondering. When it is released will there need to be an update to the app ext. released as well?

Well I'm confused. Got an email from coralvue today advising the XP8 was in stock. I had set the stock alert. Went to the Coralvue site to order one and is says only available from retailers.

One thing I've notice that just having the Control on the 2.4 network is not enough. When I go to connect a new wifi device to the control my phone has to be connected to the same 2.4 ghz network.

About two feet away and no stray voltage.

And just to clarify the change up and down is instant with the light going on and off. Even when I turn the pump off from the scrubber so the issue is not biological or gas exchange.

I like to keep extra parts on hand. Is the Dosing head on the Kamoer x1 the same head as the Hydros Simple Doser head. I assume so but wanted to make sure before I ordered a backup.
