always calibrate with tank water since thats what the iV uses during tests. and yes, take the weighed sample and divide it and then use that result in the app.
You can mix your own reagent using this Alkalinity Testing Machine Concentrated Reagent
Or this (Amazon.com) it is the same concentration.
Just need to dilute it 1:4 with RODI (so 1 part acid/reagent to 4 parts RODI). I recommend using volumetric flasks for this, since they are very accurate...
This DIY tutorial shows you how to run some Jebao 24V pumps on a Kraken Force Port AND be able to take advantage of battery mode (12V). Note: this is a DIY method and please understand everything in this guide before attempting, failure to do so could damage your equipment. Coralvue, nor I...
This DIY tutorial shows you how to run some 36VDC devices (like the Varios 6/8) on a Kraken Force (24V) port. Note: this is a DIY method and please understand everything in this guide before attempting, failure to do so could damage your equipment. Coralvue, nor I, take any responsibility. Got...
Also check if your reagent is mixed correctly:
Reagent Testing:
- There is a way to use Salifert Alk testing kit to verify your diluted reagent.
- First test your sample water using the salifert kit as directed, note the ALK value produced by the test.
- Second, re-test again using fresh sample...
Highly suggest using a scale to calibrate both the sample and reagent pumps. See here the details on how to do so and account for density for salt water: iV/X10 Setup Suggestions
Other things to check:
- make sure the iV is no more than 3 ft away from the X10, closer the better
- also try to...
Here are a few suggestions for those running the iV/X10 to improve performance based on my personal experience with the X10:
Having accuracy issues?
- Read the suggestions below.
- Make sure your dosing tubes are fully placed onto the dosing head nipples as far as possible! Prevents air leaks...
I don’t think that adapter cable will work. I found the method outlined here worked best for me.
Thread 'Kessil 0-10V Control Interface'
Kessil 0-10V Control Interface
The provided list isn't fully comprehensive, just info I have gathered along the way. If the pump's power supply is 24V its very likely it will work with the Kraken Force Port as well.
While the amount left isnt directly displayed (have to click tile to see), you can set errors on low volume limits which are handy. I do wish they would update the tile to show % remaining but thats on the long wish list.
You can add a "false output" dosing tile to your Hydros thats not actually driving a doser to keep track of a reservoir level. Just Make a Simple Doser output and set the pump speed to the same as your other doser, then for output device, leave it at None. Then make a schedule for this simple...
The following resource is how to interface the following Jebao pump products to Hydro's 0-10V port on the Wave Engine V1/V2 or X4 controller:
This interface method replaces the standard Jebao controller with a 0-10V compatible controller from Coral Box. The Coral Box AquaLink A1 is a 3rd...
