Got this set up a few weeks ago, one thing that might be a good idea to add to the setup notes is to try to keep the regent at the same height as the dosing unit, gravity has a chance to pull the fluids back some when it moves as slow as it does. With that said everything is pretty easy Carlos video is super easy to follow.

My question is the regent. Is there a dry mix of this or larger then 1L I can order? I am ordering the ready to use regent from Coralvue but going through about 1L a week. I just backed it down to twice a day but not sure if that will make the break in period longer.

You can mix your own reagent using this Alkalinity Testing Machine Concentrated Reagent
Or this (Amazon.com) it is the same concentration.

Just need to dilute it 1:4 with RODI (so 1 part acid/reagent to 4 parts RODI). I recommend using volumetric flasks for this, since they are very accurate. IE if you want to make 5L, buy a 1L volumetric flask... measure out 1L acid, and 4L RODI.

lol thank you Jeff!

I figured I had to be missing something on the site, got that ordered while I use up my last 3L of premixed!
