If it was you first post it was probably not visible to anyone for a period of time. Today is the first time I noticed either post. The collective may have waited till the turn on time to start which was midnight. I have several schedules on mine depending on time of day.
It will do that if you run it backwards since the dose is counted as a negative dose instead of a positive dose. You can always switch the two tubes on the dosing head and then run it in the normal direction.
There is a Hydros dosing pump that is called "Simple Doser". It hooks to a drive port and runs when powered. It is just single speed around 43ml and when you calibrate you tell the Hydros how much was dosed in a one minute dose. Then Hydros can take than and calculate how long to run the pump to...
Can you post screenshots of your output settings and the settings in the schedule. The Minnow dosing pumps are smart dosers and need to be setup as such and have a external schedule setup using them as the doser.
You did have the battery disconnected when you did the power down reset? The only other thing I can think of is it was not powered down quite long enough for all the power to drain out of the power supply caps to get it to reset when powered back on and with the longer power down when you were...
Here is a link to my build thread on Reef Central and on page 11 it has the way I currently have mine setup using smart dosing pumps. The starting post is 214 for the current setup. I have done it several ways in the past and those settings are also in that thread. When things get changed on the...
Also to use the built in AWC the ATO pump has to be a part of it and also the high level sensor is also the ATO sensor so not sure that output will work. You kay be able to do it with multiple generic outputs on timers and disable the ATO while it is running using depends on. Also on the return...
The built in AWC output is not designed to do that. All pumps need to stay on during a water change for it to work. The water level will go up in the sump when you turn off the return pump and skimmer. So it would then be above the ATO full water level that is used for ATO. If you need to change...
The Minnow comes with a power supply that connects directly to the command bus so you cn only use that if there is no other source of power. The X4 does not have it own source of power so you can power both with that one supply. Just don't connect another source of power like a XP8 without...
Hydros does have galvanic isolation on their pH ports. So the issue you have may be that you have power carrying cables too close to the sensor cables. In this case the pH cable. Signals can be magnetically coupled between cables. On a pH probe a millivolt of change can cause a large change in...
Most inputs do have alert settings for when they get out of range. If an output is getting triggered and has multiple inputs and I suspect a particular one I can setup an out using that particular input and set the minimum on time for the output for a few minutes so it is long enough to register...
The leak could be in another piece of equipment that is causing the issue and the heater or ground probe become the ground source for it. The best way I know would be to disconnect everything except the pH probe and ground probe and make sure the reading is ok. Then start hooking things back up...
I had to convert to a cable tht was already in place that was run between my garage and the tank around 35ft away. It was a 6 wire cable that was used for the bus cable on the Digital Aquatics controllers. My X4 is in the garage and the lighting was at the tank. My X4 controls my lights using...
I think the Maven is supposed to work stand alone or in a collective. If that is the case it would not need the X10 then. I use barb fittings to go from the flexible tubing that comes with the X10 to the 1/4" RODI type tubing. Below is a photo of the barb fittings.
