I saw this update and applied it. Everything seems to be working just fine. What were the changes?

It is a beta release presently under test not yet intended for public use. I would discourage straying from the generally available release as beta releases often also require a new app version only published to beta users. There is a possibility you could upgrade to a version your app doesn't support leaving you locked out until Support is able to assist.

I have purchased a new Hydros Launch. The very first thing it requires is an update of the firmware to version 374. The brand new controller is unable to download the update file. I have communicated with Hydro support and I have made all of the adjustments they recommend: I verified the device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal. I verified that it was connected to my network through an access point rather than a repeater. I verified that encryption protocols were WEP/WPA2. In fact, I created a dedicated Wi-Fi network for the device using an older router. At the suggestion of Hydros support,I moved the router and the device to together, such that they were about a meter apart. I tried controlling the process through the app on my iPhone, my spouses iPhone and the Web app. I performed factory reset on the device many times and did many power cycles. I deleted my account and created a new account. I deleted the device and recreated it several times. These things were all done systematically without success. The Hydros helpdesk suggests that I send them the device so they can update it using their Wi-Fi and send it back to me. This does not seem like a great solution since I don’t want to be sending them the device every time there’s a firmware update. They have stated in their literature that these updates occur frequently. So, I’m at a loss. To be clear, the problem is not installing the file; the problem is simply downloading the file in the first place. Do any of you have any idea on how to get this device to download the update file and perform the firmware update?

I am an IT guy by trade. DM me your router model; internet service provider and modem; any VPNs being used; and your DNS settings and I can see if I can help.

Is it faulting out during the download? If so it might be an issue with the internet that is causing it and not your wifi.

Got a bug with the new release. It broke the drop-down menus on schedules for using the wave engine 2 control:

When I click it, I can't select different child colors for the pumps, it just highlights gray. I also tried to add a 4th pump and that field won't select anything else. Doesn't work on the Web app either:

When I click on the arrow for position in the schedules I get the selection menu and I am on firmware 374. Did you setup a output for the 4th pump?

Looks like it's the existing schedules that are broken. If I create new ones Go figure!

Edit: looks like it works for three pumps but it's the fourth that breaks it since there's only 3 possible colors for ecotech. I guess I have to just call it "two pumps" because it's thinking based on orange, white, and cyan so they're all one "pump" even if there's two on each color.

I never had more than 2 EcoTech pumps in my collective. I recently switched them out for OctoPulse 2 pumps. Still only have 2 of them though.
