With multiple devices I find that after you upload any change you should kill (swipe up) the app on the second device and then reopen the app to load the updated config from the cloud. If you go from one device to another even though it’s hours later your change will not show up until you get...
If channel 1 is dimming and not channel 2, as a process of elimination, I would change channel 2 to channel 3 & then channel 4 to see if the wires may go to a different channel then 2. If that doesn’t work maybe a bad cable??
The 178 Firmware fixed the voltage issue and now my lights dim per the setup below:
The light uses two channels for the four T5 bulbs (2 inside and 2 outside) into a single 3.5mm stereo cable. You can create your own Y-cable that will allow you to connect two of the 0-10V OUTPUTS into a single...
I have an AquaticLife T5 hybrid fixture that now does “Dim” with the 178 firmware! 😎 thanks Hydros team!
I’ll post in the DYI section later today the cables Carlos recommended and the outlets I setup in the Hydros app.
I haven’t updated from 165 to 177 yet - can I jump straight to the 177 fix version (178) without installing 177?
Also with a collective is there a preferred order to update firmware on each individual control unit? Thanks
My thought to consider is The variable light output has a bug and doesn’t change the voltage.... Coralvue says that is fixed when the next update is released per Carlos. I tried to use it for dimming a T5 AquaticLife fixture which at this moment does not dim - it’s all on 100 or off . I would...
Just note if your light don’t actually dim... My lights do not dim using this setup but I was told by Carlos that Variable voltage output will be fixed in the next update!
I have had the Klir 4 about 6 months and just changed over to the Hydros control. I watched the training workshop video Carlos & David made regarding the Hydros as a controller for the Klir. It helped me as I have been doing things wrong.... I had the air vent tubes in the wrong way and also...
Search for my question:
ATO - DI reservoir automation
Follow Danny’s answer to my question - I use this to keep my DI storage tank between Hi & Low sensors. It has been working well so far. It’s a work around until the Hydros software is updated to have this functionality built in.

That works! 👍
I tested it in a bucket first... and then installed the Level sensors in my DI storage container & Solenoid valve in the DI tubing line.
Thank You!!
Seeking Help in programing: I have a RO/DI solenoid valve for a drive port and two water level sensors (Hi & Low) to automate keeping the ATO reservoir water level between the Hi & Low points. I want to open the solenoid valve when Low sensor is Dry and close the solenoid valve when Hi sensor is...
