Hello, am using the Control 2 to get my feet wet with using controllers. I am currently getting a new build up and running ( just got water in tank today hooray!) using the WiFi quad outlet strip to use as the outputs for two sump heaters, and would like to set the *if input unavailable* - *turn on*. This will not toggle, it stays in the *turn off*.

Am I doing something wrong here?

I have never noticed that since I always want the outlet off if there is no control input.

I wonder if it is some type of an override to keep people from selecting the wrong outcome for the heaters profile.
Seemed to me a sensor loss/failure I would still want my heaters to be working, off their own thermostats so the tank is still heated no? That’s obviously assuming the thermostats are properly working but I plan on getting my redundancy logic figured out so if anyone would care to share their logic feel free to.

My heaters do not run except some in the winter months. My cooling fans get the most workout. I have two different outputs for heaters. I will probably eventually use two different temp sensors but for now I just have the one. If for some reason it does quit I will get an alert anyway so I can take action as I see fit at that time. I have all my outputs set for off if input is not available. I just never tried it the other way. I posted the issue in another part of the forum.

It is not an override. You have discovered a legitimate bug. I will submit this for the next software update.
