0-10V float switch

OK. Stuck. Purchased these, followed the diy instructions and set the range 1-3, cannot get the floats to register.

i hacked up another float and it worked perfect but decided to make three all the same......now cant any of the new to work on any range settings.

Any suggestions for a known model that works???

Setup an input like the one below on each 0-10v input you are using. You do not need to change the one you are using since this is just used to get the voltage readings from the input in each float switch position. The input will be displayed in voltage. So you can see the change when you move the float up and down. You can then use the voltage to setup you input. One should be 0v and the other is usually between 2-3v.

Got them going!! operator headspace, had it on the wrong 0-10V controller, defaults to 1st C4, had wired to wave engine using switch. Thanks for providing an alternate way. Freed up two sense ports....hmm, what to buy next, lol.

Perfect, thank you! I've been printing holders on a 3D printer and the magnet might be easier/more flexible. By the way, I use the 0-10v input for my float switches as well. Saves my sense ports on an X4.

How did you wire the 0-10v on the float switch and where can I find those adapters?

I use float switches but I hooked them to my sense ports by connecting them to a 4 pin GX12 connector. They hooked up to pins 2 and 4. There is no polarity for a float switch so one wire goes to pin 2 and the other goes to pin 4. Below is the setup for one on a sense port.
