10v modes changing

So I by accident connected to 4th channel on 10v input for mode control and looks like does not work. Reading would drop to 0v, settings point to 4th channel and nothing would happen.

Swapped to 1st just to test, updated settings for mode switching to 1st and all of a sudden everything works as expected. Haven't tested other two.

Is there some reason for this?

It could be a wiring issue on the cable. That would be the most likely culprit.

Analog 10v port was showing 0v vs 2.5v normally.

Did you check the source? Could the source not be sending the correct voltage on that channel? Did you check the programming on the other end? What about a volt meter?
