Does Hydros make a 24V FP extension cable? Can't seem to find one. Is the only way to DIY it? Need to go about an additional 8-10ft further than what the stock cable provides. Seems I could just buy a male/female barrel connector extension the proper size & it should work. Is that not recommended or dangerous for any reason?

You can make or order a GX12 4 pin male to female cable off Amazon typically in 1m increments. Haven't disassembled a cable and unsure what CoralVue uses but I have had longer lengths made with 18AWG cable. Only concern is wire gauge and voltage drop over distance. In that sense you may be better making or ordering the proper length rather than introducing loss associated with another inline connector.
