It took awhile to get stable results from the X10 + IV Pro. Both in terms of learning how to best calibrate it, and in terms of the system seeming to need time to break in?
Not sure how much of that process was user-error vs break-in, but either way, the Alk results became pretty stable after a few weeks of fiddling with it.
---
One thing that hasn't improved though, is the tracking of reagent use. Somehow, I'm getting accurate Alk resutls, and consistent ones, but the system seems to think I'm using about 50-75% more reagent than I actually am.
I have a 2L reservior, and test every 6 hours. My Alk is about 9-10 dkh now, so the reagent use is maybe a bit more than some people, but not as bad as it was at 12dkh.
When I recalibrate the reagent doser, the doser consistently produces about 2.7ml instead of the exepected 3ml. But once calibrated, it's extremely accurate, at about 2.95-3.05ml.
However, despite being calibrated for dosing correctly, and producing accurate results, that somehow that doesn't seem to fix the use-tracking.
This seems like a software bug to me. Is there anything I can do to verify this? Should I ping support?
