Anyone ever tried changing the email on their account?

I need to change the email on the account associated with my hydros. Does anyone know of a painless way to do this? As far as I can tell, I need to create a new account and transfer the devices over (hopefully by copying the existing config). But even this is more work than necessary since the hydros requires you to manually delete everything associated with a device before removing it. What a waste of time.

I could contact Coralvue support but they've been pretty much useless lately. I've been waiting a month for a replacement for my doa xp8, and they can't even be bothered to respond with an update.
 
This is very strange. I see on our support ticket that we sent you an update message an hour prior to you posting this. I recommedn you check your email and let us know how you want to proceed with your replacement unit.

In terms of changing the email, there is no easy way to do that as it is your primary ID and how the cloud maps everything that is yours. In order to change the email, you would have to do the following:
  1. Create a new HYDROS account with your new email
  2. Do a Yellow Reset on all your HYDROS devices (follow Step 3 here)
  3. Login to your old HYDROS account and delete the devices from the account. You can find the delete option under "Device Properties"
  4. Login to your new HYDROS account and register the devices there
If you want to completely delete the previous HYDROS account, you will need to contact us and we can do it for you.
