When configuring a Generic or Combiner output it would be super helpful to be able to see the current state/status of an Input that is configured on the output settings screen.

Currently you have to go back to the Status page to see the state of an input to track down why it may not be working properly. If it could show the current status of the selected inputs in the top right corner opposite the “Inout (out) #” label it wouldn’t take up much space and save LOTS of time.

It would also be nice on the settings page for an output to be able to see the current status of the output.

Have commented in the past this data should be included in the logs for not just Generic and Combiner but all output types. Presently logs just indicate Turned ON or Turned OFF. Suggested more verbose logging events reading something like Turned OFF (Depends On) or Turned OFF (Max Time) or Turned ON (Input 1). Would give a good idea as to what to look at when an output is not acting as expected. The Turned ON (Input 1) example works great with OR Combiner Mode. It may become a little bit problematic with AND Combiner Mode telling the first Input preventing something from turning on or off but not necessarily indicating there may be multiple inputs contributing to state.

Agreed. The logs should show why it turned on or off. What changed to make it change its state and log the state it change from and to. So you know if it went from override off to auto and then it determined that it should be on due to the input values or dependencies. That would be super helpful.

Maybe a way to change the log level for when it’s needed or at least filter by log level in an advanced setting. I’m sure that may affect the SD card since the write rate would increase but maybe there are other ways to address it.

And the logs should be exportable to filter as needed.
