I have an odd occurrence in my hydros launch ato/awc function that I can’t figure out. I had this running for a year and moved the pumps and sensors from a hob aio filter to a sump to accommodate a roller mat. After setting a new schedule to run one time on Monday at 3 it ran as expected. Drain and fill and shut off. About ten minutes later I hear water running only to find the awc running again. After checking everything and the schedule Infind nothing wrong except it’s running again a third time. I immediately delete the schedule so it won’t run again only to discover the drain pump is running again. I check the app and it says ato is off, drain is off, fill is off but it keeps running the awc! I force off ato, drain, and fill and they stop but I’m at a loss to understand what happened and what to do to fix it. It seems like a serious bug in the firmware.

Wondering if I should delete and reinstall the app, or delete all my pumps and sensors and redo? I just opened the app and it said there was an issue. Then reopened again and it loaded fine?

The AWC function has a hold timer to permit levels to stabilize and may occasionally result in the AWC Fill activating a second or third time before re-enabling ATO. This is normal behavior.

Sorry but that’s not what happened here. The awc cycle kept repeating with the drain pump turning back on and draining down to the low level sensor, shutting off and the fill pump turning on and filling to the ato sensor. This repeated 3 times until I manually over rode the pumps even though the app said they were off switching them from auto to over ride off was the only way to stop the repeating cycle.

Would need to see your schedule to potentialky explain why it ran again But generally a schedule misconfig or an onnif on depends below the output is source.

Do you have multiple devices which form a collective? And did you previously have an AWC schedule which ran more than once? If so, reboot Launch AND collective master. Could be a synchronization issue with Launch turning output off/on but collective master not accurately reporting state. When you communicate through app, you're communicating with master. Other devices could occasionally not obey master creating such behavior. Havr seen this once or twice.

The ato/awc ran for 11 months twice a week as expected. It is a single launch device only. I changed the schedule to only run once a week to test the relocation of drain pump and sensors into the sump to see how much water was going to be changed.

You changed a setting from twice a week to once a week? Could that have been what caused the issue to show up? My AWC is split into 4 times a day every day and I do have a sump and I have no issues with it. I do not use a low level sensor and use an on time for the drain pump of 10 minutes but I do use Blenny dosing pumps for the drain and fill pumps. May want to get screenshots of you AWC output settings and of the AWC schedule and post them here.

It still would not hurt to have others check it and see if they notice anything that might be causing your issue. I assume you have already tried a reboot of the controller from the app.

So the issue has been resolved. There is a slider for “use remote schedule” that somehow got turned off and missed. I contacted coralvue/ hydros and explained in detail what was happening and suggested that the programmers look at this as to me missing that toggle should cause the schedule to not take place instead of actually run and then continue to run as not running at all would be less problematic than what was happening to me.
