So I finally got around to setting up the awc. I am using 2 hydros dosing pumps and a hydros top off pump. I added an additional low level sensor to my return area in my sump. Before i set this up i was using the ato setting with a single sensor and it worked perfectly. Now that i have the awc system setup, it seems my top off is not filling up to the high level sensor anymore. Any thoughts on this.

If the fill did not fill after a water change the ATO will never start. Did you watch it do a AWC to make sure it fill to full after the drain?

I was just thinking the same thing. I adjusted the time on the awc schedule now from 9am to 9am. I have it scheduled to change water 6 times a day at 15 minutes each. I will keep an eye on it and see if it fixes it after the 1st scheduled start.

Also check your graph of your full sensor.
I just set this up last night so there isnt much to show, but when i woke up that is when i noticed the ato was not working.

I have a 42 gallon tank and use the Hydros dosing pump for the ATO. I don't use the AWC since I have a dual head dosing pump I use for that. I figured ai would post the ATO settings for you. I am not sure what size tank you have but this works on my 42 gallon tank. Also I posted a screenshot with the sump full graph.

Thank you for that. I had the ato working properly the same way you have it set up. Just stopped working when i setup the awc System.

OK, so im now totally confused. I have the auto water change system working based on my high and low level sensors in my sump. It drains to the low level as it should, then it fills to the high level as it should. As soon as that is done it then turns on my ATO pump and starts filling my sump even though the water is already at the high level sensor. Why is it doing that?

Does it stay on the minimum time only?

15 seconds and 30 seconds is not very long when using a Hydros dosing pump for an ATO. They only pump 43ml per minute.

My ato pump is the hydros pump that runs off the drive, not the 43ml dosing pump. That pump does about 1.2 gallons a minute.

Running the minimum should not be an issue, but you can alway lower it some. how often does it turn on they way it was setup?

Im not really sure how often it turned in before. I just set the water change system up today. I really dont want it to turn on at all as soon as the water change is done. I only want it to turn on when its called on by the high water sensor.

The ATO output log which in your case is part of the water change should have that information.

But the main question here is, how do i prevent the pump from turning on as soon as the water change is done. Do i just set a minimum on time of 1 sec, or leave at zero.

I have a minimum off time of 30 minutes set on mine. With that it should not turn on for 30 minutes after it is on. Is it adding too much at the minimum of time with it full if so you might try a 5 second minumum.
