AWC - X10 or Minnow or...

I currently do AWC with two Versa dosing pumps. I take water out and put FSW in at the same time and rate. It works fine but it would be nice to have that in the collective for more control. For a 105g display (130g in total with sump and external refugium), I change 1.5g daily. Can I do that with the X10? I was thinking of using the other two pumps to top off my ATO from my RODI reservoir and dosing cheatogro. Or is it better to do it with the Minnow?

The plus with the X10 is the salinity probe.

I know the Sole is an option, but at $300 a pop, I may stick with what I have if the X10 or Minnows are not an option.

@Danny , I know you are using the Minnow for AWC, but I thought I found you had it on the X10. If so, did it not work out?

I use the Minnow for water change. I currently change 1000 ml at a time 4 times a day. It takes about 30 minutes to complete but it drains first and then fills. Not sure I would go much higher on the amount than that each time, I would not use X10's for that since they are not meant for long runs at a time. I have X10's but they are used for dosing and the alkalinity testing in the iV.

Thanks for the reply. I did see you have the Minnow doing that on R2R. I figured with the X10 having a stepper it could handle more.

I'm waiting for the Maven for testing like pretty much everyone here.

Maybe the move would be to do a Minnow and a Launch so I can get the salinity option. Weighing options on my collective expansion.

The Launch has 4 AC outlets one probe port and a salinity port. It also has 4 sense ports and 4 drive ports. I also has 4 0-10v inputs but it does not have any 0-10v outputs. Those are only on the X4 or WEv2 currently. So it is just a matter of which one or ones fit your needs the best.

Yep, I have a Launch on my other aquarium along with a WE-LE. On my main aquarium, I have X4, XP8, WEv2, Kraken, X2, XS and linked via data cable to my mixing station, another X2 and XS.

I was hoping that the Maven would have a salinity port, but since it won't, I made add a Launch to that. I was looking at the X10 as an option if I can use those dosing pumps for AWC.

I do use one 0-10v in for checking for low valtage to trigger low power mode.
