Here's what I have and what I'd like to do. I currently run a Profilux 4 along with my Hydros wave engine 2. The wave engine is handling my octo pulse pumps and a gyre in my sump. I have a wave engine LE and plan on swapping my singlular VarioS 6 for two VarioS 2's because I have a dual tank single sump system. I have ordered pump adapter cables, an XS module and two water sensors along with several terminators and a leak sensor rope. Id like to devise a way to stop the circulation pumps from flooding my floor should one of my stand pipe drains encounter a blockage. Currently I have the octo float switch for the drive pump in my smaller tank, as it only has a singluar stand pipe drain. The other larger tank has an emergency drain so I felt that this minimized my flood risk.
I'd like to place both optical sensors in the overflow boxes of both tanks and have either one send a signal to stop both pumps. If this is not possible for both pumps, can I do it singularly? As in, if the left sensor trips, the hydros stops the left pump and vice versa.

Am I on the right path for components? How do I configfure the software within the collective once I have it setup and online?

Any suggestions will be welcome, even if its a no go.

Many thanks,

J

You can setup a generic output with both sensors active when wet. Set the combiner mode to OR. Then use that generic output in the depends on setting for any pump you want to turn off. Set the dependency mode to off if on. It does not matter how many outputs use this output as a depends on.

I will try that. Thank you!

I should have the collective itself together by this weekend. Cables and terminators are here and XS module is due tomorrow. So far this system has been far easier to configure than rhe profilux. Kudos to easy to use! 🖖
