I've been trying for a couple hours to connect a third power strip I just bought for my Control 4. I've made sure the strip was unpowered while I created the device in the app. Once powered up, I either get a solid blue circle, sometimes I get pink with blue at the top. I have to hold down the button for more than five seconds, and then it will either flash blue or flash between red and pink with blue at the top. The app says linking in progress and starts counting down from 2:30, and sometimes the progress bar disappears and it says waiting for status, but then quickly switches back to the countdown. It stops blinking after a few seconds. Regardless, at the end it says link failed link timed out.

Any ideas what I'm missing?

I usually link the wifi devices close to the router. Did you also post about this on facebook?

Yes, I did also post on Facebook. I'll try pairing by the router, but I didn't have to do that with my other two strips or my two feeders.

So you only have 4 wifi devices so far? There is a limit of 8 total. Did you check out the link I posted in facebook. It has some tips on paring. You do have the latest firmware on the Control 4 correct. If you still have issues getting it pared you might want to submit a support ticket Submit ticket to CoralVue also.

I FINALLY got it connected. I tried your trick of connecting close to the router, and it did connect, but when I moved it to where I need to use it, it would not reconnect, until I stretched the cord out as far as possible towards the router with the strip powered up. It then reconnected and remained connected when I put it where I wanted it. Hopefully, it will reconnect if signal drops and comes back on without so much issue. I don't know if the antenna is weaker in this particular one or what, but the other two I have are actually further away than this one.

It is harder to pair usually than reconnect. I have an access point along with the router so there are 2 connection points for them on my network. I usually give them a few minutes before unplugging and moving them where I want them.
