Can't find or connect to Sole

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Sole dosing pump for controlling my kalkwasser reactor. I went through the setup on the instructions but when I get to choosing type of doser I do not get the drop down menu with a smart doser option. Nor can I find it under the devices tab. What am I doing wrong here?
 
I have the same issue. So, I created a dynamic doser output for my Sole that uses a probe input of the pH of my sump.

Smart dosers will not show up as a output device sine it is not a port. You can set an output specifically for the smart dosers but they can only be used in a schedule except for the Sole. With it you can set it up to run constantly at a selected flow rate. then you use the depends on settings to control it from another output but the output cannot be one that has multiple outputs setup within that output since any of those outputs would be used for control since they are all considered to be the same output as far as a depends on.
 
Thanks! I can't get my Sole to even show up on anything. I've followed the instructions but still can't get it to show on screen to do anything to it.
 
Had a similar experience. Are they connected to your man controller via command bus cables and one terminal?

What I had to do was this:

1. plug in sole under it's own power cord.
2. once it's turned on and LED's are powered, push the hamburger at the top left in the hydros app.
3. Go to the + sign at the top of that menu, at the next menu, your sole should pop up and you should be able to run the set up to connect to your wifi.

To control the sole through another controller, you have to connect it via command bus cables.

When I plug mine in, it won't show up on the controller when I do the exact way you described. I have no way of seeing it to get it to do anything.
 
The Sole is a controller and has to be setup on your app and have the wifi and passwords setup and you will also need to name it at that time. Have you done that?
 
Thanks everyone. I finally got it figured out. I was trying to get it to connect to the rest of my hydros controllers but I kept gonna be about it incorrectly. I finally found a video from Carlos that explained what I was doing wrong.
