I have been having quite a few issues with my WiFi outlets disconnecting frequently. I suspect this is due to a combined 2.4/5Ghz network SSID and am planning on spinning off a new SSID that is 2.4 Ghz only.

Do we have any ideas on the items listed below?
  • What is the proper method to update the WiFi networks on the Hydros Components (Wave Engine and Control 4)?
  • How do the WiFi strip and two, single-outlet devices update their WiFi? I'm fuzzy on how these items are joined to the network in the first place since this is all streamlined in the Hydros app.
I would prefer not to remove / readd the WiFi devices, but some ideas would help know what needs to be done.

To change or update the WiFi credentials on the Control units, just rerun the setup as if the unit was new. Updating the Control WiFi will NOT erase your configuration.

To update the WiFi strips, go into the WiFi Device OUTPUT and use the "Replace" button and then replace the strip with itself.
