Is anyone using the Hydros CO2 controller to control the co2 to their calcium reactor? If so, do you have any other control for the co2, or is the Hyros used as the primary control? Tips on setting up? Thanks!

I have been using it for nearly 2 weeks now. It has been performing flawlessly. Right now, I have the CO2 set up from 6.5-6.7. I am considering lowering that to 6.4 to 6.6. I am using the CO2 probe also from the Hydros. Because I use the Tunze regulator, it doesn’t come with a CO2 solenoid. So this works perfect.

Awesome. So this would replace a carbondoser electronic regulator, correct? How do you like the Tunze?

No, carbon doser is equivalent to a needle valve. This just protection against the ph going too low in the reactor. I personally am fine with the Tunze but I’m old school so I am familiar with the old school style regulators.
